Who We Are

Discussel Concrete is a referral service. We help homeowners in Birmingham, AL and the Birmingham area find independent providers for new concrete driveways and patios. We do not pour, cut or finish anything ourselves.

Why We Exist

Finding a good concrete provider is hard. Quotes vary. Details get lost. Older houses make it worse. An aging slab, a past repair or a surprise under the surface can change a job fast.

So we built a simple path. You tell us what you want. We connect you with a local provider. Then we step back.

How Matching Works

You call or send a request. We ask about the project: driveway or patio, rough size, and the age of the house. Then we point you to a provider in our network who works in your area.

Coverage and schedules differ by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability.

What We Ask of Providers

Providers in the network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

• Give written quotes.
• Explain the plan in plain words.
• Be upfront about prep work, such as removing an old slab.
• Answer questions without pressure.

We encourage you to ask each provider about license and insurance details. Check them yourself before you sign.

Older Homes Get Extra Care

Old slab, new plan. That is how we think about older houses. A driveway poured decades ago may sit on weak base. Past patches may hide problems. Pier-and-beam homes bring their own limits on grading and access.

We ask you to share what you know about the property. Providers can then price the real job, not a guess.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not do the concrete work.
• We do not set prices. Providers do.
• We do not handle concrete driveway repair calls or foundation repair work.
• We do not push you to hire anyone.

If your project is not new concrete, we may not be the right fit.

How We Are Paid

Homeowners pay nothing to Discussel Concrete to be connected. Providers in the network may pay for referrals. That does not change your quote. You pay the provider you hire, under the terms in your written agreement.
